I recently bought the plasma 12 and have to say that I am very pleased with the both the watch and the LED Watch Stop. Payment online was easy and the web site was beautiful. They must have shipped it out the same day because I received it in only 3 business days. The watch arrived well packaged and in new condition. It even included a spare battery. The Plasma 12 came in a translucent frosted plastic display box. The box appeared to have a slight yellowing to the plastic that may have been due to the plastic aging over time but I can’t be certain. Regardless, the Plasma 12 was in perfect condition. This watch has a wow factor when you first see it and it is much, much larger than I though it was going to be from the pictures online. It really is a large block of steel and feels very substantial on my wrist. The most striking feature of the Plasma 12 is the deep red glass crystal. It is the perfect color red and just looks like a jewel. I do wish it was a hardened mineral crystal though because I have already scratched it just with incidental use. The LED display looks great and is about as bright as one would expect for red LEDs. It can easily be seen in brightly lit, indoor environments, but can’t be seen outdoors in direct sunlight without covering the display with your hand. This is typical of all my LED watches. A great feature is that the LED display remains lit for 10 seconds after depressing the button. This is a feature I wish all LED watches had. Heck, I wish it could stay on all day long. The watch features a 5ATM (50m) water resistance which is unusual for most fashion watches of this type. While this level of resistance is not designed for the pressures encountered with showering or water sports, my Plasma 12 has stood up to daily showering, some swimming and a trip in the hot tub or two (I probably just blew my warranty ..oops.) The Plasma 12 was easy to set although initially the buttons had a slightly rough, maybe even a faint scratchy feel when they were actuated. They have worn in nicely now and it isn’t noticed. Overall, the band looks reasonably nice and is comfortable. The wide dimensions fit the look of the watch nicely although mine did not come with the double buckle design. The band appears to be made from leather but it must be the thinnest leather band I have seen. This watch would definitely be enhanced by a thicker more substantial leather band, especially at the $100 mark. Overall I really like my Plasma 12 and I will certainly buy again from the LED Watch Stop.
